Planter Box Tops

Standard top

Both sizes of Landscape Tanks come with a standard 175mm deep (internal) planter box top. Given that the planter tops (internal) are also 900 mm wide most customers heap the soil (potting mix) high in the middle thus increasing the depth of the soil to around 350mm to grow plants.

Deep bed tops

For those customers wishing to grow larger plants/shrubs or root vegetables a deeper optional top is also available for the serious gardener. The deep bed top is 275mm (internal) may also be heaped in the middle for increased height to around 450mm.

Outdoor Kitchen and BBQ also require the deeper top for convenience of installing fittings.

Mulch

A good bed of mulch will also assist growing process.

Convenient garden height

A major feature of the Landscape Tanks is their raised planter box garden bed for convenient garden height. The height of the planter box can be regulated by how deep you excavate the site for the tank and backfilling or paving around the edge.

Convenience all round and this is particularly handy for elderly or disabled people as well as the not-so-old. All this as well as knowing you are saving money by storing all your water needs in the process.

Planter box tops drain to the rear and not into the tank.
