Landscape Tanks can be used as pre-engineered structural retaining walls that will last a lifetime and look fantastic in the process.
As an added bonus the Landscape Tanks do not require footings avoiding costly excavations and issues with shale, sandstone or rock. The tanks are very fast to install, with large retaining walls often able to be erected in less than one day.
Simply remove the top soil to a firm base, level site, add 50mm of crushed rock and your are ready for installation; it couldn’t be easier! Delivery also involves placing tanks into position.
Owing to the exceptionally long life expectancy of the Landscape Tanks they can be expected to outlast timber and brick retaining walls up to ten times over. Isn’t it comforting to know that installing Landscape Tanks as retaining walls is a one-off only?
In cases where there is a steep slope or larger sloped areas, the tanks may be tiered behind one another along the incline achieving a very attractive outcome.
Engineering drawings for both the standard unit and deep bed unit are available for customers, councils, builders or developers use upon request. Landscape Tanks also make fantastic, inexpensive retention systems for further savings.
As an added bonus when Landscape Tanks are used as retaining walls they still can be expected to save you money on your ever increasing water bills for the life of the product (100+ years) – in essence paying for themselves.
All retaining wall engineering is done with the tanks empty.
